DJ and producer Marcelo De Almeida is back at Piston Recordings with his third outing, the fantastic Outono EP which follows the equally superb Primavera EP from the Summer of 2018. Marcelo spent his childhood in Canada listening to Hip Hop, he later moved to Portugal where he discovered a whole new world of music in the underground house music scene. After mastering the art mixing he turned his hand at music production and began to delve into deep and tech house. He is the label manager at Raw Level Records and over the years he has dished out a plethora of top-notch grooves across several quality labels.

Outono serves up a tasty tech house treat for us with a solid drum arrangement leading the way. A deep, chugging bassline powers the groove effortlessly while floating, melodic arpeggios captivate. Surreal moments occur with the addition of rich pads and sequenced chords that add depth to the groove. A definite must have for the late-night session.

Dias Soltos delivers a nice clubby style groove thanks to an upbeat drum section that throws out smooth rhythms. A deep, subby bassline moves through the groove, tying the track together beautifully. Sublime chords stack up in short form as well as elongated sequences which gives the track a real deep vibe that will most definitely keep the floors rocking.
