The Last in the 3 year running Quarterly series of DBDR VAs is here, BUT! They are ending on a high with the awesome Disco VA. First up is Khonsu The Child's - Disco Snacks, a perfect example of the Disco House genre with hints of Tech, Acid and Classic House thrown in for good measure. Sue La Vie's Tech House Inspired Remake of the classic Boogie Wonderland is a revelation and a very fresh take on a song it is difficult to improve on, but she has some how turned it into a club night monster! Van Holten comes to the album with a classic Van Holten smooth, perfectly crafted track - Crazy Ride, this man never disappoints and always brings the highest quality of track and the best examples of the genres he makes. Josef brings an also old school electro vibe mixed with disco to create a very different but very addictive sound with Hold It On Me (Neon Disco), Finally a DBDR VA wouldn't be complete without the founder Anthony Francis and his take of Earth Wind and Fire Classic September - Disco Fire, this track brings an interesting and fresh take to a hugely popular track making it viable for clubs with just enough of the orginal vocal for a sing along, but not too much that it becomes an overly commercial track.
All round this is a really well rounded VA from a group of artists who grow from strength to strength with every release!
