The Oscillat Music label kicks off with the Marabouda EP featuring a killer set of deep house grooves from SAM. From the opening title track, with its breathy chords and jazzy keys which reference classic Chicago house with a uniquely modern flavour, through the Joey Anderson-like weirdness of 'Storm Refuge' and pumping rhythms of 'Decoy', the producer demonstrates his killer ear for classic deep house textures. A must-check release from a label to keep tabs on.
