Stemming from the western seaside commune of La Baule, France, Vincent Debejarry is no outsider to the house music scene. Having played with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Kenny Dope and Roy Davis Jr, Vincent ventures off into new territory with his freshman release, 'Paris Brest' on 1980 House Records.

Petite Plague, the heavier track of the two, starts off with a sharp dense kick drum, creating the heartbeat of the track. Crisp high hats balances the track with some lightness, a warm low frequency bassline creates a lazy groove, while the subliminal like vocal loop and hazy keyboard keys ease the listener into a relaxed state.

Paris Brest, the title track of the EP, is light and airy track with a hallow kick drum and a muted spaced out bassline, creating the foundation. The detuned minor chord progression soothes the listener while the jazzy keyboards draws in their attention keeping the mind from wondering too far.
