After Dark EP

Vol-Tek

Sirion Records
SR026 | 2011-07-26
The next coup by Sirion Records is from none other than one of the founding fathers, Fedja Haueter aka Feodor and his fellows Alex Torriglia aka Mo-tek and Beni Dossenbach aka Balance. The trio, better known as Vol-tek, has played a key role since the very beginnings of Sirion's musical outpours and was represented in SR001 with a remix. Numerous remixes and their own release SR005 - Vol-tek - Male & Female are further to be mentioned. A part from Sirion Records the trio was represented at friends' labels such as Cristian Paduraru or Samy Fresh's Augenringe Records. But their next big thing is yet to come, as the threesome has been finishing tracks throughout the past year and surely need to be reckoned with in the future. The tracks After Dark and Conciliator are both rather deep, playful tech-house gimmicks, enriched with a bit of progressive. A dear friend and Lake Constance's finest Patrick Zigon did the honors of a remix. Patrick is firmly established in the electronic scene of southern Germany with plenty releases on labels such as Cocoon, Highgrade, Great Stuff, Trapez, Traum, Kling Klong, etc. or remixes for Guy Gerber, Gregor Tresher, Gui Boratto, Martin Eyerer, Extrawelt to prove it. Hypnotic tech-house with lots of soul! Luca D'Ignoti aka Little Lu of the Bernese party label Elektrostubete contributed the remix to Conciliator. This young talent is on his way to worldwide success and has already gotten quite some attention on Highgrade. Lastly but surely not leastly a digital only remix by Stuttgart's Gabriel Creole rounds up this latest package. Alltogether an exciting ensemble which will hopefully please the listener as much as the creators enjoyed compiling it.
