Fast-rising talent Tennan makes his Roush debut this November as he drops his ‘Hold Me’ EP.
Emerging from the UK’s ever-evolving house and tech house scene, newcomer Tennan is the latest rising talent to join the industries global circuit. Following a string of releases on the likes of Moon Harbour, Relief and VIVa since making his production debut, the Leeds based producer now adds Hector Couto’s Roush Label to his resume, offering a four track EP to mark his debut. ‘Hold Me’ offers a smooth opener, unveiling a balanced blend of filtered, soulful vocals amongst energy building snare rolls, whilst ‘Mota’ raises the tempo with an up front combination of driving low ends and punchy kicks. Next up, the bubbling ‘Kabukicho’ combines stuttered vocal interjections with raw, analogue tones and tight-knit drums, before ’10 Miles High’ offers the most paired back production on the package as rolling drum grooves and warped vocal hooks combine with spiraling background atmospherics across seven minutes.
Tennan ‘Hold Me’ is out on Roush on 16th November 2018.
