We're delving deep into the bowels of house for our 19th release which comes from Italy born but Bristol based wonderkid Kiu D!
Title track Take Six perfectly marries up Buddy Rich style hi-hats & jazz style piano stabs with some 2am dance floor stomps as well as a bit of jazz flute...sounds like Cab Calloway dropped a couple of doves & went underground.
Park Street hits the high road with Nile Rodgers style guitar licks and warped disco loops alongside jazzy organ stabs for a real bag of bangerizm!
I'll Be There eases things up ever so slightly with some Pacific State style pads before giving way to a heads down-tops off 'can I 'ave a sip of your water mate?' style E'd up shenanigans.
Misumba heads out of the disco & deep into afro territory...a serious tribal workout with a whacked out (dare we say almost trancey?) style sequencer.
Forget splitting hairs, this is straight up jackin, slappin, jazzed up, jazzed in house...
