Rita is back at Piston Recordings with his latest effort titled Loose EP. This one marks his ninth outing here making him a stalwart for us. Always delivering pure quality, we've become accustomed to his style and sound. Ricardo used to go by m0u53 and has seen several releases across various labels in the last couple of years as well as a few slices on our various compilations. His Ritz moniker is dedicated to all things house and his groove is championed across the world by many jocks. Always great having his new work come through the office.

Loose intros with a solid thumpy kick drum and deep rolling bass alongside spritely hats and a mesmerizing fading in pad. The infectious bass forces you to move and the percussions layer up delivering a lively rhythm. Cool vocals shots add texture, enhancing the rhythm as the main hook comes through to dominate. The hook unleashes the killer punch for this track, filled with a very cool retro vibe, the piano is hypnotic and works beautifully in the groove. Some serious deep house vibes here that are not to be missed.

Hypnotize opens with a superb punchy kick drum alongside a sublime pad and deep, sub level bass combo. Right away you're hooked into the groove which gets the body shimmying towards the floor. Warm chord stabs join in adding depth, taking the track to the next level. A short break offers respite from the relentless, hypnotic groove, before we're thrust right back into full on mode for the duration. A perfectly apt title indeed, this one will not disappoint.
