Manek is a DJ/Producer originally from Mumbai, India, but now based in Brooklyn, NY. His journey into music started at a young age being trained as a classical pianist by his uncle.
He slowly started to gravitate towards electronic music from the young age of 10 where he explored all styles and eventually honed in on his love for house music. His passion for music quickly threw him behind the turntables at parties and in turn, started off his production career by making quick mash ups/edits/DJ sets for his friends and then later, clients.
Upon arriving in NYC, he has Dj'd some of the most famous rooms such as Tenjune, Kiss N Fly, Highline Ballroom, Hotel Chantelle, Su Casa Lounge, La Zarza, Babel Lounge etc. As a producer, you can instantly gravitate towards his dance floor driving basslines while his melodies take you on a sweet musical journey. His creative production skills thread together energetic, groovy and inspirational vibes with a massive feel good element.
All in all, Manek's music channels his positive personality to enhance the listeners overall experience. An additional fun fact, when Manek is not in the studio, you can catch him competing professionally on the squash court on the SDA Pro Tour.
As a former junior on the Indian National team, he transfers his work ethic, drive and confidence from his on court experiences into the nightclub and studio!
