A REC – next edition is deeper driven affair from Hall North.

Hall North is notably described as "One of the UK's hottest producers (former IDJ Editor Russell)”.

He’s an artist that rose to notoriety due to his remix of Harvey Mckay's '69' which was released on Soma in October 2010. Since then he has gone on to remix the likes of Chris Fortier, Andry Nalin (Nalin & Kane) and SAYTEK (Cubism) and release original material on Wiggle Records, Glue Music, Tulipa Records (among others) to rave revues.

Support on his tracks has come from the likes of Carl Cox, Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles, Claude von Stroke, John Digweed, X Press 2 and Paul Oakenfold among others and his DJ sets have featured on Lucidflow and UM Podcasts as well as Ibiza Sonica and Innervisions radio as well as on his own fortnightly 'Hall North House' show on Brap FM and very welcome with us on A Rec.

First on this featured two tracker is the title – Notra Dame – Which is quite a deep affair with a crossbred of Deeper house, Melodic Techno to Progressive influences. It sets a tone from the outset whilst hypnotically building with more depth and intriguing quality. Its carried well with its groove driven percussion that keeps it moving between the club domain as well as a more detailed listening experience.

Next – Restoration – really take center stage with a unique quality, it's very moody with a dreamscape atmosphere that keeps pulling you in for more. Combined with touches guitar elements it compounds the mood further and is quite infectious.
