Originally hailing from Brazil but currently based in Vienna, Joyce Muniz has been rapidly making her mark on the house music world with her beautiful voice and slick production skills, and the Malicia EP shows her at the very top of her game, fusing old-school sounds with current dancefloor sensibilities. The title track is in a similar vein to fellow producer Maya Jane Coles, deep, driving and atmospheric, while her remix of Blaze's 'Lovelee Dae' is simply stunning, with floating stabs and insistent chords that transport you to another place entirely.
