Jack Back is a side project for David Guetta, returning to his house music roots. Taking full advantage of his creative freedom, Jack Back takes his motivations from current house producers like CamelPhat, and from revisiting his own 90s house sets for vocal samples and simple grooves. Taking inspiration from Bessie Jones’ iconic record, which was made famous by Moby’s ‘Honey’, but here given new lyrics and meaning, ‘(It Happens) Sometimes’ is a thunderous record, self-assured with a powerful 4/4 groove and intoxicating vocal, ready to take the halls of house music by storm.
