Max Muller debuts on Piston with the fantastic Creep EP. This project is the fruit of a mixture between homage and passion. Muller is the name of his grandfather that he particularly likes and Max is a man who lives only for music and his audience. He began his DJ adventure in the South of France and made his debut thanks to United events where he distills festive and catchy sets in Deep House and Tech-House sets. His perseverance allowed him to play alongside Whyt Noize, Matt Sassarie, Shaded, Pan-Pot, Matador, Traumer Cosmic Boys, Xenia Beliayeva Citizen Kain and Kiko. He also regularly mixes at parties in the Occitan region. Max is a dancefloor lover which led him naturally to production. His many influences include Cuartero, Max Chapman, Richy Ahmed and Steve Lawler. He signed his first tracks in 2012 on Scander and Way Of House before finding a niche on European labels such as Madtech Records, Daylight Robbery Records, Blacksoul Music, Klaphouse, Love Not Money, Prison, Mustache and Defined Music. Since 2017, he has been working regularly with Dan Corco. Delighted to have him on board.

Creep is a serious tech house joint designed for maximum impact on the floors, and boy does it deliver. Right from the off we're faced with thumping kick drums and a superb, deep probing bassline that fills out the low end beautifully. Crispy hi hats and snappy snare rolls fill out the drum section as a rhythmic vocal weaves through the track. Intense pads rise and fall leading us to the break where the bassline carries on alongside cool vocals and climactic drums before we're thrust right back to full on mode. A must have that will not disappoint.

Don't Save intros with muted drums and crispy hats before a solid, pumping kick drum joins in. Short vocal shots pop up and, in the background, a mysterious pad rises up. After a short break featuring a tight snare roll, the bassline comes through to take control of the low end with its groovy vibe that will get the floor moving. The vocals intensify as do the building synths that give the track an edge. A tasty tech treat that is not to be missed.
