Seven Music's comeback is led by label boss Ric McClelland, under his new 'Sun Runner' alias. The Belfast native has been releasing music under various monikers for over 10 years now. Many will be familiar with his work as 'Scope' on labels such as NRK, Urbantorque and Large, 'South West Seven' on labels such as Kolour LTD, On The Prowl and Solardisco and most recently as 'Montel' on labels such as Toytonics, Let's Play House and Knee Deep In Sound. The man's passion for real 'House' music knows no bounds and the various name's he releases under allow him to channel his sounds.
Ric's sound as 'Sun Runner' sees him delve deep into Disco and Jazz Funk while fusing it with uptempo House elements.
