Tide's Arising was MdCL's full length follow up to 2000's Six Degrees. Since Six Degrees, Mark remixed numerous artists featuring on the first Verve Remix album and releasing the live improvised project Freesoul Sessions and the compilation Melodious Beats vol.1 featuring his collaborations with Restless Soul, Ovasoul7 and his UK dancefloor classic "Relax...Unwind" with Abdul Shyllon.
