Up next on District 9 we welcome 'Anek' to our label release series. The duo originating from Copenhagen are well known for there unique deep minimal but grooving style which has placed them on some of the industry's defining labels like Moon Harbour, Roush, Snatch Records and Steve Lawlers' imprint ViVa Music.
The lead track 'Slippery Elm' is a real low end bass groover sculptured with tight percussion work and solid drums which Anek are so well know for and they have certainly delivered.
Track 2 Shiny is a more stripped back groove certainly Aneks signature style! Shiny has a more trippy feel with real shufflly hats and percussion which is finished off perfectly with a hypnotic vocal to lure you in to a zone.
On remix duties we also welcome a young and very talented Italian producer who we see big things for in the future 'Marco C'!. Marco has quite the CV when it comes to industry support which includes the likes of Marco Carola, Leon and Joey Daniels....in other words the giants at 'Music On'. With releases already on LA Pera Records, No Excuse, Lost Audio and more we see Marco really making all the right moves.
