For our third offering we've chosen four Tigerskin classics for you plus one unreleased tune from Alex Krüger's Archives.
'Bordeaux', from 2008, is a dark and lush space hymn that set the tone for many of Tigerskin's productions in the years to come. It features acoustic kicks and percussion, sequenced synth toms, subtle pitch changes and has lots of atmosphere which, back then, you'd rather expected in Drum & Bass.
'Silver Sun', unreleased til today, was taken from the same 2005 recordings session as 'Neontrance'. A minimal groove and a ton of bass marry a big room full of breathing acid synths and reverbs while little artefacts fly around like mosquitos.
'Neontrance' is one of Alex's widely known 'acid techno' pieces. Rhythmically changing synth-patterns are built around a proper booming Tr-808 until that hi pitched synth line comes in... Simple. Effective.
This one's still killing dance floors all over the world since it's 2006 release on Dirt Crew Recordings.
The last two, 'Suzuki Rider' and 'Wanted' have been originally recorded and released in 2008, also with Dirt Crew, as part of th 'Peter's Secret Weapon Ep' and since we and many others out there always loved both for their beauty and elegance we won't want to keep the fresh versions from you any longer.
All five tunes have been beautifully restored again from their original parts by Stefan Janson.
