Think of it as our editorial "Unmissable Artists" list: These are the names we believe you should know—some of them will be familiar but we’re certain there are many more for you to discover. It’s a blend of breakthrough talents and seasoned artists, all making waves, shaping sounds, and infusing fresh energy into the dancefloor.

Her remix of Jason Herd feat. Lisane’s 'I Wanna Dance' on Soulfuric also claimed the #1 spot, further showcasing her ability to deliver crisp, deep, groove-driven tracks that command the dancefloor. A regular on PIV’s roster, Allen has become a staple at their global parties, bringing her sharp, energetic sets to audiences worldwide. Her touring schedule has been relentless, and her releases - five of which landed in the Top 100 Deep Tech/Minimal chart - demonstrate her skill as a producer with not only a clear, signature style but also a work ethic others can only wish for. Whether Kellie’s shaping new music at the pioneering T.H.I.S (the HUB Ibiza Studios), in the booth at DC10 for Solid Grooves, Skepta and Jammer’s Más Tiempo nights, heading Stateside to LA, Chicago and more, or rolling out extended sets in the labyrinth of London’s fabric, Allen’s energy is constant as she moves into her seasoned pro era - largely thanks to being 100% the real deal. Bobby Donny label boss Frits Wentink delivered a standout 2024, blending house, techno, and bass with his signature off-kilter style. Releases on Wolf Music, Clone Royal Oak, and Shall Not Fade showcased his raw, analog-driven grooves and unconventional textures. Known for pushing boundaries while staying dancefloor-focused, Wentink’s ability to merge wonky rhythms with deep textures and soulful undertones has made him a favorite among selectors. An experimentalist at heart, Wentink’s distinct sound continues to evolve, solidifying his place as one of the year’s most exciting artists. Standout cuts include the upbeat 'I Want It All', the glorious 'Spiritual Basslines', and the nostalgia-inducing 'Club Land' - all perfect examples of Wentink finding the ideal balance of groove, energy, and otherworldly sonics.
Continues to push the envelope musically Thakzin had a landmark 2024, claiming his position as one of the most innovative producers in Afro-house. Known for his groundbreaking track 'The Magnificent Dance' on Sondela Recordings which laid the foundations of the 3Step sound, Thakzin continued to push the genre forward with an impressive slate of releases and remixes throughout the year. We’ve been following and supporting Thakzin’s journey since 2017. This year saw him deliver a stunning remix of Cape Verdean singer Mayra Andrade’s 'Bom Bom'. Releases like the 'Ithuba' EP on Rise and 'Chemistry' on Sondela further showcased his ability to craft intricate, groove-heavy productions with substance, not forgetting the mighty remix of 'Yes God (feat. Dearson)' alongside Mörda and Mhaw Keys. Amsterdam’s Dennis Quin made a serious mark in 2024 delivering an impressive selection of releases that highlight his talent in the studio and demand as a DJ. With seven Top 10 positions and 42 Top 100 appearances, Quin’s productions have been consistently well-received by DJs and fans across the globe, no doubt thanks to a work rate that skyrocketed post-Covid when Quin chose to make music his full-time career - a decision we’re all grateful for! Key EPs this year included 'Treat You Right' on PIV Records, showcasing his knack for deep grooves and crisp production, 'False Promises' on Beeyou Records, and remixes on Mood Child and Heattraxx all cementing his place in the Deep Tech/Minimal scene with two tracks landing in the Top 100 of the genre. Special mentions go to the wall-shaking 'Eighty Four', released on Constant Sound, alongside the brilliantly deep and eerie 'My Belief'. As the head of Dennis Quin Records and a continually rising force in the underground, Quin’s sharp, groove-driven sound continues to evolve out on the road, often finding himself crossing the Atlantic alongside the likes of Kellie Allen and Prunk - making him one to watch as his journey unfolds.
Native New Yorkers Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield, better known as musclecars, had a standout 2024 thanks to their deeply soulful and jazz-inspired music. Their debut album 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea' was a defining moment, weaving together a beautiful selection of tempos, flavours, and energy, released on BBE. The duo’s remix of 'Monkeys' for Toy Tonics demonstrated their ability to reimagine a Nu Disco cut with their signature deep and soulful touch, while 'We Found the Sun' took us on a journey back down memory lane. Louie Vega’s remix of their track 'Tonight' remained in our charts thanks to its perfect balance of soulful energy and Vega’s classic infectious rhythm. musclecars have solidified themselves as one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the New York scene in recent years, and their journey is just getting started!
Hamburg-born DJ and producer Sidney Charles came out swinging in 2024, with four tracks landing in the genre’s Top 100. As the driving force behind the Heavy House Society imprint, he delivered a number of stunning EPs on his own label, Moxy Muzik, you&me, amongst others. The monster 'No Way Out', released on Solid Grooves, showcased Charles’ signature style: deep, driving basslines, crisp percussion, and an unmistakable - and quite frankly, rude - groove. Perfection. His output this year served the dancefloor as much as it did DJs, offering guaranteed dynamite no matter the hour, earning him widespread support from selectors across the globe. Special mentions go to his remix of Tiptoes’ 'Chip Shop Heroes', certified heater 'House 2 Heal', and the brilliant 'Charles List'. Sidney Charles’ consistent ability to deliver quality tracks while evolving his sound has solidified his place as a key player in the scene and an artist we’re excited to hear more of!
Masaki Morii, DJ, producer, remixer, and founder of M2SOUL Music, had a great year, earning his place as one of the scene’s most consistent and underrated talents. Known for his clean, polished production style, Morii delivered two overall #1s and one genre page #1 this year. His album 'Depiction 2' was a standout release, blending deep, soulful, and uplifting Afro House elements that showcased his versatility. Morii also made his mark with releases on respected labels like eVIVE Records, Sounds of ALi, Quantize, and Househead London - not forgetting the brilliant 'Straight Fiyah' alongside DJ Oji on POJI Records. A producer who prioritizes substance over hype, Masaki Morii continues to deliver quality music with precision and soul, making him an essential name in the house music scene. It’s been nothing short of a stratospheric rise for Amsterdam-based duo ANOTR, as they continue to achieve the kind of global success that most can only dream of. With the infectious energy of their productions and high-tempo sets, ANOTR have brought the party vibe back to the forefront. Fusing disco, funk, and soul with a fresh perspective and exquisite production levels, they have cemented themselves as a force within the dance music community. This year saw them perform at sold-out shows worldwide, cultivating a dedicated and passionate fanbase in Ibiza as one of the island’s ‘must-see’ acts. They hosted an exclusive listening party and previewed their highly anticipated upcoming album, which we can’t wait to hear. In a move to keep the focus strictly on the music, ANOTR introduced a no-phones policy at their events—a decision praised widely on social media and one that could spark broader change in one of 2024’s most debated topics. It was a huge year for Zimbabwean-born, Johannesburg-based Dr Feel, following a year of heavy rotation and support from Black Coffee - appearing in all of his sets and earning a well-deserved stamp of approval. This year’s highlight was his debut album 'Indalo,' a stunning showcase of his ability to blend intricate rhythms with emotive melodies. The percussive 'Jungle Drums' stood out, blowing dancefloors away with its raw energy, while 'L’Amour,' released on Sondela, delivered a hypnotic, soulful groove that climbed high in our charts. With a production style that bridges traditional African influences and contemporary house, Dr Feel has carved out a distinct musical identity and is undoubtedly building a legacy. His rise in 2024 establishes him as a key player in the Afro-house movement and one to watch closely as his sound continues to evolve!
It was a stomping year for Manda Moor. As co-owner of Mood Child with Sirus Hood, she’s been pushing forward a unique sound that’s gaining traction across the globe. A favorite at Jamie Jones’ Paradise parties and quickly becoming an Ibiza staple, her non-stop touring schedule has been nothing short of jet-lag defying! Cementing her place as a dynamic force in the house music scene, Manda Moor achieved 20 Top 100 chart positions with relentless support from heavyweights such as Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, and Louie Vega. Her tracks have been a constant presence in DJ sets worldwide. Standout cuts include 'Boothy,' her remix of 'The Ron Hardy Memo,' and her spin on Cristian Viviano and Baglione’s 'Somebody.' It was yet another storming year for the mighty Prunk, the driving force behind Amsterdam’s world-renowned PIV imprint - both his own career and label continue to go from strength to strength. As one of the most humble and nicest characters in the scene, Prunk kept the releases coming throughout 2024. Highlights include his remix of the infamous Soulsearcher classic 'Can’t Get Enough,' breathing fresh life into the timeless anthem with his signature sound while remaining respectful to the original. His remix of Chesster’s 'Tribute' was another standout, delivering the kind of deep, driving energy that pulsated on dancefloors during his sets this year. As a producer, remixer, and tastemaker, Prunk’s influence continues to grow. His contributions to both PIV and the wider house music community further cement his reputation as one of the scene’s most talented artists. The dynamic duo of Max Sinàl and Renell Shaw, collectively known as 2fox, had a big year delivering some of the most celebrated soulful tracks of 2024. Their standout release 'Elevation,' featuring Brit-Soul talent Laville, arrived as a major piece of uplifting, smooth sunshine on Soul Clap Records. 'Elevation' remained in our charts throughout the year as a go-to cut for the finest selectors, setting the stage for a Louie Vega remix due in 2025 that we can’t wait to hear. Manoo’s remix of 'So Long' brought a deeper, hypnotic dimension to their sound on Soul Quest Records, featuring BB James and the unmistakable vocals of the UK’s Liam Bailey. Known for their ability to produce meaningful, soulful songs that stand the test of time, 2fox continue to carve their path as exciting ones to watch!
Chris Stussy was on fire this year, taking everything to the next level in 2024. From his DJ sets and productions to the output on his Up The Stuss imprint, the crowd favorite didn’t seem to stop or let up from January 1st. All this while globetrotting, rolling out at the world’s finest clubs and leading festivals on a relentless touring schedule. His remix of Moby’s classic 'Go' was a clear highlight, soaring to #1 in Deep Tech/Minimal with its refreshing and subtle take on the original. Another standout was 'Desire,' released under his CSS project, showcasing his versatility in the studio. Other highlights included his remix of 'Bounce To The Beat' and the dynamic 'Synergy.' As head of Up The Stuss, Stussy continues to foster a tight-knit community of like-minded artists while paving the way for emerging talent. With four tracks in the Top 200 Deep Tech/Minimal of 2024, Chris Stussy has proven once again why he remains both a crowd favorite and an undisputed tastemaker in the global underground scene.
14. RAHH
RAHH, the soulful singer-songwriter, made her mark on 2024 with a standout feature on 'This Rhythm' alongside Prospa, a huge Circoloco release that lit up dancefloors worldwide. RAHH’s rich, emotive vocals have established her as a rising talent and earned her recognition from some of the biggest names in electronic music. Looking ahead to next year, RAHH’s collaboration with Ben Westbeech on 'Times Are Changin’ (Two Soul Fusion Remix)' for Glitterbox Recordings is already generating buzz, promising to be a major moment in 2025. With a voice that brings both depth and energy to every track, RAHH is quickly becoming a go-to vocalist across the spectrum, adding her soulful touch to each collaboration. Kolter remains one of the hottest artists emerging from the German music scene. The artist formerly known as DJOKO brought his groove-laden, big-room energy to 2024, continuing to make his mark as both a producer and a talented curator as the driving force behind Kolt Trax. With two tracks landing in the Top 200 Deep Tech/Minimal chart this year, Kolter continued to evolve his sound- experimenting and pushing boundaries. His productions are packed with rolling basslines, sharp percussion, and a nod to classic house, all while successfully embodying his fun personality that shines through his work. A rare talent! As both a label boss and artist, Kolter’s impact on the scene keeps growing, proving that house music is at its best when it colours outside the lines. Thank you, Kolter!
It was another solid year for Vincent Caira as the Canadian producer kept the beats coming, delivering dancefloor dynamite from start to finish. Remaining a buy-on-site artist thanks to his reputation as one of Toronto’s finest producers and selectors, Caira continued to team up with the mighty Haritas on a number of big, feel-good cuts on Spacedisco Records. Caira’s output didn’t stop there, with releases landing on the likes of Robsoul, Mood Funk, and Moxy Muzik. His productions showcased his ability to seamlessly merge classic house vibes with modern energy, creating tracks that resonate on dancefloors worldwide—big drums, moving bass, and head-snapping rhythm. Special mentions go to 'On The Record,' 'Position,' and 'You' alongside Jerome Robins. Whether collaborating or flying solo, Vincent Caira’s unique sound remains a staple for DJs and fans alike, showing an artist entering his prime era - we can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
South African producer and head of Groove On Recordings, Exte C, delivered a strong year in 2024. With a beautiful selection of carefully considered cuts spanning deep, soulful flavors, Exte C showed the world why he deserves your attention. The release of his album 'Something Real' on Soul Candi was a standout moment - a beautifully crafted collection that showcased his ability to blend deep, rolling basslines with lush melodies and stunning vocal work. Other highlights included 'Sunday' alongside Dave Risen and 'Don’t You Know Me' with Lukamusic, garnering widespread support from selectors worldwide. With a steady output on Groove On Recordings and beyond, Exte C’s 2024 has been a testament to his skill and consistency. A true champion of soulful house, he continues to create music that resonates around the globe, building a solid discography in the process.
We couldn’t be happier to see London-based soulful house producer Wez Whynt grow and go from strength to strength. A familiar face we've been supporting for a while, Whynt’s productions ooze smooth grooves, clean arrangements, and a natural ear for perfect vocal collaborations that consistently deliver. His ongoing work with vocalist Hannah Khemoh has proven to be a winning partnership, delivering standout cuts such as 'Together' on Nervous, 'We Move' on Househead London, and Reelsoul’s remix of 'Vibe,' among other strong releases. For those craving quality soulful house, Whynt’s name is one to add to your favorites - we’re looking forward to more of him in 2025!
Franky Rizardo had another strong year in 2024, balancing a relentless touring schedule with standout releases that continue to showcase his distinctive deep, groove-driven sound. The Dutch producer and head of LTF Records delivered two tracks that landed in the Top 200 Deep Tech/Minimal chart, further solidifying his place as a key player in the scene. Standout cuts included 'Dance To The Rhythm,' his excellent remix of RAFFA GUIDO’s 'Famax,' the upbeat 'Make My Body Move' featuring Cara Melín, and the dancefloor smasher 'Wanna Funk.' With his ever-growing label and consistently sharp productions, Rizardo remains a go-to name for quality cuts. A longtime Traxsource favorite, this determined Dutchman is showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down!
20. Fouk
Dutch duo Fouk, made up of Hans Peeman and Daniel Leseman, have been on a massive upward trajectory in 2024, delivering a steady flow of quality releases across some of the scene’s most respected labels. With music landing on Snatch!, No Fuss Records, Sidekick, Reel People, Z Records, Lazy Days Recordings, and Heist Recordings alongside good friends Dam Swindle, their output has been as excellent as it has been frequent. Their remix of Saison’s 'Suffer' on No Fuss Records was a standout this year, as was 'Loving At First Sight' alongside Debórah Bond. 'Cobalt,' released on Basics Recordings, served as the perfect snapshot of where the duo’s energy is at right now - tight, crisp productions with substance and longevity. This year saw them land a #1 overall spot and two genre #1s, showcasing their knack for combining deep grooves and funk-infused rhythms with a touch of laid-back flair. Fouk’s upward momentum makes them one of the most exciting duos to follow right now!
Hailing from the French Riviera, Romeo Louisa has emerged as one of the most exciting young producers of the year. A jazz pianist and DJ, his deep-rooted musicality shines through in every production, effortlessly blending soulful and garage-inspired house, making him a breath of fresh air in the scene. Releases on House of Groove, Pont Neuf, SOUND SOUND, and the excellent Spanish imprint theBasement Discos have firmly put his name on the map. His standout track 'Unconditional' has been making waves, complete with remixes from Jesse Bru, THEOS, Scott Diaz, and DJ Steaw. Be sure to check out 'Trouble,' his remix of ZAV’s 'Joy,' and the uplifting keys of 'Move Me' - all essential cuts. With his signature blend of key influences, Romeo Louisa is an artist on the rise. 2024 was the year talented artists like Megatronic came through and delivered fresh sounds and energy to the scene. A certified triple-threat - singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer - the London-based artist had a strong year that earned her a well-deserved place among her peers as a standout talent in the deep and soulful realms of house music. Her 'Do I Belong to You' EP landed to great reception this year, with Jimpster's remix of 'Been Thinkin’' standing out for its beautiful use of warm textures and deep pads. Last year’s 'Black Joy' alongside Dylema continued to appear in our charts throughout 2024, a testament to the longevity that defines her productions. Bosq’s remix of Megatronic’s 'Nazo' alongside Zimkitha & Domenica Fossati featuring VenusRaps proved to be another selector’s staple from the year. Other highlights include the beautiful 'Organic' on Brooklyn’s Razor-N-Tape and 'The World,' a subtle yet euphoric cut with StaVros. Alongside her busy DJ schedule, Megatronic’s ability to seamlessly bridge genres while staying true to her roots has made her one to watch. A positive force to be reckoned with, Megatronic is poised for even greater things, and we’re excited to hear what comes next!
Chaos In The CBD, one of New Zealand’s biggest musical exports, continued their stratospheric rise in 2024. Already headlining some of the biggest festivals in the world, their relentless touring schedule (and the jetlag that comes with it) is a testament to their dedication and global appeal. Firm favorites of Jamie XX, the talented producers continue to remix and collaborate with some of the world’s finest musicians and contemporary artists, including Nathan Haines. Unlike some festival headliners, Chaos In The CBD consistently back it up in the studio, showcasing an ever-evolving approach to production and drawing on a wide range of inspirations. Rhythm Section International remains home to some of their finest cuts- never-ending, beautiful, deep, percussive, warm flavors that have become their signature. With an album already on the horizon for 2025 and their ever-entertaining Instagram account, the duo’s mix of talent, personality, and consistency ensures they remain at the forefront of electronic music culture.
Last Forever Records founder Turbojazz continued to make his mark in 2024 with a steady stream of quality releases and standout collaborations. Sharing the decks with heavyweights such as Jimpster, Mr. Scruff, Kon, and Sculptured Music, he’s proven his versatility both in the studio and in the booth. A highlight this year was 'Like You' featuring Rona Ray, which received a super-smooth, soulful remix from Sean McCabe that resonated with selectors and dancefloors alike. Alongside his work on his own label, Turbojazz delivered strong releases for Defected, BBE, Local Talk, Atjazz Record Company, GAMM, and S3A. Not bad for a year’s work! Other standout cuts include 'Star Chaser' and his remix of Harold Matthews Jr.’s 'Metronome.' Yet another huge year for Archie Hamilton as the London-based DJ and producer worked hard to maintain his position as a crowd favorite at the world’s biggest events and clubs. As one of the most in-demand artists around, Hamilton kept the momentum going in the studio, releasing a number of successful cuts on his MicroHertz label, now a staple go-to imprint for cutting-edge music. Highlights included his remix of Danny J Lewis’s certified classic 'Spend The Night,' bringing it up to speed with a future-proof take on the original, and the huge 'Impress Me' featuring Tenesha The Wordsmith. With two tracks landing in the Top 200 Deep Tech/Minimal chart, Hamilton’s output continued to resonate with DJs and partygoers alike. Other standouts include 'Don’t Need You' and 'Daydream' featuring Sadie Walker. With an output like that, it’s no wonder there’s a long list of promoters eager to put his name on the bill worldwide. Dwson had another great year, continuing to prove why he’s been a Traxsource favorite since day one. His latest album 'Was It Really Worth It' arrived as a masterful blend of melodic house, afro, progressive, and house music - seven glorious cuts that showcased his versatility and depth. As the head of IMPLSV, Dwson not only pushed his own sound forward but also championed five-star quality through the label, featuring artists such as Jordan Arts, Ed-Ward, Aizo Clutch, Kezia Tehilla, and Aquatone. Following a busy schedule of gigs throughout the year, Dwson opened for Keinemusik in South Africa, bringing his music to the masses and earning a well-deserved seat at the table. With an unmistakable sound and a steady flow of strong releases, Dwson remains one of the most exciting and consistent figures in the scene. Natasha Diggs remains a force to be reckoned with. Having built momentum and honed her craft in NYC over the years, 2024 felt like the year everything came together as she took things to the next level. An incredibly talented DJ with a packed global schedule, the dancefloor always fills when Natasha steps into the booth. Her remix of Blaze’s 'Breathe,' released on Slip 'n' Slide, was a standout moment, perfectly embodying the soul of the original while delivering a fresh and timeless take. We’re eagerly anticipating her latest collaboration with UK soul icon Omar Lye-Fook on the horn-packed, afrobeat-infused dancefloor banger 'Think About This Day,' featuring Rio de Janeiro’s horn section (Diogo Gomes on trumpet, Jorge Continentino on sax, and Marlon Caldeiro on trombone) and percussion master Andrea Siqueira. European house lovers can continue to catch Natasha playing at Defected and Glitterbox events, as well as across Ibiza’s vibrant club landscape. Once dubbed the “Herbie Hancock of the UK” by Benji B, the multi-instrumentalist, producer, and broken beat pioneer delivered an exceptional year in 2024 with a string of standout remixes and collaborations. His 'Fusion Moves' remix album for Reel People Music was a masterclass in soulful, jazz-infused reimaginings. Other highlights include his remixes of 'Little Me,' 'Red Velvet,' and 'Better,' all showcasing his unmistakable musical touch. Atmos Blaq had an impressive 2024, continuing to establish himself as a rising force in the Afro-house scene. Known for his atmospheric productions, the South African producer delivered a series of standout remixes and collaborations this year that garnered widespread support across the genre. His remix of the South African classic '1000 Seconds' brought fresh energy to a timeless track, while his reimagining of Fish Go Deep’s 'The Cure and the Cause' for its 25th anniversary added a deep, soulful touch to the iconic record.
