lassik Blueprint Muzik, LLC is a premier digital and vinyl record label dedicated to preserving and evolving the "genetic code" of house music. Owned and founded by Keith Alexi "K' Alexi" Shelby—a true originator of the Chicago House sound—the label serves as a high-fidelity bridge between the genre's foundational roots and the global dance floors of the future.
Biography
At Klassik Blueprint Muzik, we don't just release tracks; we curate the blueprint of a movement. Helmed by Chicago legend K' Alexi Shelby, whose career began in the inner circles of The Warehouse and Music Box under the mentorship of Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy, the label is built on decades of authentic dance floor history.
The label's operations and creative direction are managed by Robert Royale (COO/Head of A&R), a veteran multi-instrumentalist and former resident DJ at iconic venues like The Warehouse and The Clique. Together, they have assembled a powerhouse roster of artists who embody the technical mastery and soulful spirit of the Chicago underground:
* Joe Smooth: A global house music pioneer and "originator" credited with essential contributions to the genre's creation. Famous for the timeless anthem "Promised Land" and his foundational work on the 1983 "Jack Trax" EP—the first record to use the terms "House" and "Jack"—Joe has earned gold and platinum awards working with icons like Destiny's Child and Whitney Houston. His enduring partnership with K' Alexi Shelby recently produced the 2025 collaborative track "Black Sun Rising".
* Jerome O.: A radio industry veteran and chart-topping producer with nearly 100 releases on elite labels like Strictly Rhythm and Z Records. His 2014 album "It's Time" hit #1 on Traxsource, cementing his reputation for emotion-rich, radio-ready house music.
