BERETTA MUSIC

Oftentimes in this busy and chaotic world it's challenging to draw a parallel between two congruent events. In this case drawing its inspiration from Detroit's recent meteoric rise from the ruins of the past, BerettaMusic a label founded in Detroit in 2002 who took a several year hiatus is back in a big way, also rising from the ashes like it's birth city has done. But to dive a bit deeper we'll take a look back at the beginning... The label started first as an artist collective in Detroit by Ryan Sadorus, Tammy Sadorus and Brian Kage. The initial guiding idea was the same core principle why the label exists today and that still is ultimately to bring people together. As fate would have it, Ryan, Tammy and Brian first met at a local turntable night in Detroit way back in 2001 and this meeting quickly turned into a burgeoning musical endeavor which led to the team realizing that they needed a much bigger outlet for musical creativity.

At the time they formed the label it was sort of a magical time in Detroit with a whole new wave of artists coming from the city. BerettaMusic became the launching ground for many world renowned artists that we know today and produced some of the first music from artists like Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Luke Hess, Lee Curtis and many others. They also put out music from veteran artists such as Joris Voorn, Adam Jay, Greg Gow and DJ Vitamin D.

The label continues to search for, discover and expose new talent coming from Detroit to the world. Sticking to their roots they continue to release vinyl and digital, focusing on the artists themselves with high quality full color jackets with artistic renditions of the artists they feature. Look for some fantastic new music from this label as they forge their way to be one of the top labels in the world.
