Multi-award winning investigative journalist, Mzilikazi wa Afrika, had a dream to start a record label that will become like an anthropology of authentic African music, stirring different sounds from all corners of Afrika into one big melting pot to feed those who are hungry for the evergreen African grooves, and that's how Bomba Afrika Records was born.
Bomba is a Xitsonga, Mzilikazi's native language, word for be proud and the label means Afrika be proud.
