Gold Drama Recordings is an independent boutique record label specializing in electronic music, conceptualized in early 2010.
The main purpose of the label is to ensure an outlet for great, underground and quirky music that might otherwise never be heard and in today’s over-saturated digital music world.
More than any particular shallow fad, the vibe is the defining characteristic of GDR’s releases. Rhythm is king while drumbeats and synths serve as pawns, puzzle pieces, and rolling dice in the game of the dance floor. GDR’s palette is broad, and bright; you simply won’t find better sounding records, from the deepest sub-bass to the most angelic highs; no matter the sound source, from distressed machines to digital clarity, the groove is the one thing keeping everything together.
