Funkalletta is redefining what it means to be a flutist in the modern music scene. Born in Germany to a family of musicians, she picked up the flute at age eight, mastering it through classical training and earning a spot in the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra. Her life changed after touring Australia, where she fell in love with the culture and stayed, expanding her sound to include world music, jazz, rock, and experimental genres.

Now an international collaborator, Funkalletta has worked with artists like Abyss Deep Sound Lab, Rochelle O'Reilley, Funkalleros and Meddread, blending diverse influences to craft a style that is uniquely hers. Passionate about reviving the flute's place in popular music, she proves that this often overlooked instrument can take center stage in bold, unexpected ways.
