ROMAIN PELLETTI

Born in Corsica, Romain Pelletti, was raised in the South of France into a world for music, while his Mother was a DJ his Father was the owner of a night club. This had a profound influence on Romain as a child and laid the foundations for what has become a lifelong obsession.

Romain´s launch into the world of DJ-ing began in popular venues in the “City of Popes” which quickly gained him access to the most prestigious clubs on the French Riviera including Saint Tropez and Cannes. Romains international career took off in 2004 when he started performing on the dance floors around the world including Ibiza, Russia, Poland, Geneva, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Dubai, and now Thailand.

Romain has been lucky enough to combine his two passions in life, fashion and music by working for companies such as Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Audigier, for which he performed with artists such as the king of pop, Michael Jackson.

Since 2013 Romain is based in Phuket Thailand which also happens to be one of his favourite locations. Currently Romain works as the Artistic Director at CATCH Beach Club, a part of the Twinpalms Group and without doubt the most prestigious beach club on the Island, if not Asia.

When asked Romain describes himself as an eclectic artist designing beats swaying between deep house, House and Nu Disco. Romain believes music is the manifestation of love and passion which with his infectious personality and artistic flamboyance connects him with his audience in a very real and unique way.

In the summer of 2015 he returned to Thailand from Europe after visiting venues in Ibiza and the South of France. inspired by a new innovative House Music Style, the likes of which Asia had never heard before. With his special unique style and influence as one of Phuket´s leading DJ´s he took the Island by storm introducing a new fresh and inspirational trend in House. It is fair to say that Romains reputation proceeds him and he is fittingly known locally as The Lion of Corsica.
