VAN DAMN

About VAN DAMN

Jordan Wyness, better known as Van Damn, is quickly emerging as one of Scotland's most exciting electronic music exports—hailing not from the country's clubbing capitals, but the small fishing town of Arbroath.

Over the past decade, he has been instrumental in shaping Scotland's underground party scene, spearheading some of its most renowned events through his celebrated "All Good" club brand. Hosting global heavyweights such as Skream, Hannah Laing, Ben Hemsley, Patrick Topping, Ewan McVicar, LF System, Peggy Gou, and Groove Armada, Van Damn has built a formidable reputation both behind the decks and behind the scenes.

Beyond his work as a promoter, Van Damn has carved out his own lane as a DJ and producer, earning spots on some of the UK's most prestigious festival and club lineups. From FLY Festival, TRNSMT, and Outdores to legendary venues like Sneaky Pete's, SWG3, Unit 51, and the iconic Sub Club, his energy-driven sets have cemented him as a staple in the UK club circuit.
During lockdown, Van Damn took a unique approach to building his brand. Recognizing the potential of digital platforms, he launched the "All Good" Twitch channel, broadcasting high-energy DJ sets from a green screen or his spare room every Friday night. His infectious tune selection, off-the-wall visuals, and sharp Scottish patter turned these streams into a must-watch event, drawing a dedicated following and making his virtual parties the go-to Friday night ritual for hundreds. His creativity didn't stop there—he also co-founded and hosted The Back2Back Podcast, featuring in-depth interviews with the likes of Hannah Laing, LF System, BLK, t e s t p r e s s, and Ewan McVicar.

Lockdown also saw Van Damn refine his production skills, leading to early support from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers Jaguar and Sarah Story. His tracks were frequently championed on the airwaves, even earning spins in Ewan McVicar's Radio 1 residency. But it was 2023's Can't Grumble—released on Jaguar's Utopia label—that put him firmly on the radar. What followed was a breakout 2024, with a string of high-profile releases: We Can, No Sleep, Blame It on the Bassline, and Lie to Me all landing on Fatboy Slim's iconic Southern Fried imprint, followed by Cinco De Mayhem on ThreeSixZero.

The impact of these releases propelled Van Damn onto major stages, including BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Cultivate, Ibiza Rocks, Pikes, Drumsheds, Hï, SWG3, and doof In The Park — solidifying his presence as a force within the UK club scene.

With 2025 set to be his biggest year yet, Van Damn is gearing up for a landmark release schedule, including Turn Up The Power on Hannah Laing's doof label, releases on Southern Fried, and high-profile collaborations.. Adding another milestone to his career, he is also launching his own record label—an exciting new platform designed to champion cutting-edge club music and showcase emerging talent.

Beyond the music, he's expanding his reach into podcasting, launching his very own brand-new series in March featuring guests such as Ben Hemsley, Will Atkinson, LF System, t e s t p r e s s, and Charlie Boon.

With an unmatched blend of charisma, technical skill, and an instinct for what makes dance floors move, Van Damn is more than just a DJ—he's a cultural force in the making. As one of Scotland's most electrifying talents, he's now firmly on the global radar. Keep your eyes on him—because this is just the beginning.
