SUDDEN MOVES

Sudden Moves is the musical project of childhood friends Lorenzo and Tom. Under this moniker, they express their longtime love of house music, ranging from the jackin' sounds from Chicago to the funky filtered house sounds from Paris.

Starting as T.U.R.F. in 2017, the Dutch duo carved their name in the scene with several chart-busting tracks on labels like Robsoul, Exploited, Nervous, Too Many Rules, and Tensnake's True Romance. Over the years, their music has been supported and played by some of the most influential artists, including Disclosure, A-Trak, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Jamie Jones, and many others.

As Sudden Moves in 2023, the gentlemen continue to craft their signature style, which always adds a unique touch to the late 90s and early 00s sounds they grew up with. As DJs, the pair throw down infectious house grooves from the massive archive they built digging for over twenty years. Don't sleep on these two!
