Fishplant brings an element of sunshine to dance music with his signature melodic sound, lovingly crafted from a background of varied musical experiences.
This English producer discovered his passion for house music later than most, but his love of music has been a lifetime. After he spent his early years playing various instruments in orchestras, jazz groups and rock bands, a chance encounter with an old friend on a trip to Sydney in 2012 brought about his calling to house music.
His debut album 'Self Titled' was released in 2023 on YHV Records, reaching number 4 in Organic House and 59 Overall in the another download site charts. It was more than 10 years in the making, as he honed his self-taught production skills to combine his passion for beautiful uplifting melodies with his old influences, creating a unique style that finds its feet amongst the melodic and organic genres. Since then he has gone on to work with artists such as Veytik, Saand, R.E.E.V., K'You, Penhilburg and Indiano, as well as signing with labels Be Adult, Rythmica & PolyAmber Records.
As a DJ, he has created a reputation for sets that take you on an immersive musical journey from organic house to techno, and is highly renowned for sending the sun to bed with an emotional sonic experience.
