French electronic dance music has been around us since 1928 with notable artist and composers all the way from Maurice Martinet, the inventor of the Ondes Martenot to the sounds of Daft Punk and beyond. Across the major railways, and air-transport hubs throughout Paris, nestles away a unique individual who has always been passionate about electronic music. If you haven’t heard of Meda, he’s that guy who has been producing music and collaborated with many artists such as Ian Pooley, Robert Armani, Scan X, and a slew of others. With tracks on labels Kolour Recordings, High Pro-File Recordings, and Dirtytrax Records, Meda’s tracks were given the thumbs up and full support by Maceo Plex, Laurent Garner, Richie Hawtin, and Steve Bug to name a few.

Media has managed a few labels and organized a few electronic music events while opening doors at some of the finest residencies in France. Rex Club, Bator, Villa Rouge, and Electromind all accepted Media with open arms. His DJ mixes brought hundreds across Paris, gathering around the sound system to check out Meda’s mixing technique, while other club kids rushed dance floors, only to be lost in a french house setting. Whenever Media is on the bill, this guy is worth checking out.
