FEDERICO GAROFALO (Cosmic Bambino) is an Italian
DJ, Music producer, Songwriter living in London where is currently studying Sound Engineering.
Since he was very young he embarked on a high-level musical path.
He begins at only 6 years of age to go to see concerts of live classical music and various live performances of jazz bands. Soon he started collecting records and buying CDs and He immediately discovered a great passion for rock, hardrock and blues.
At just 14 years old, he already owns his first electric guitar and the complete discographies of all the pillars of music of the '70s years.
He makes his debut as a singer and rhythmic guitar in several venues in his city, concerts or various artistic days.
At only 18 years old he has already embraced all major musical genres and it is at that point that he begins to resume and follow with great interest the jazz and soul music. Needless and superfluous to mention famous icons such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Ben Webster, Chet Baker, Gerry Mullighan, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and many others.
In listening to African music and the Black American class also approaches and embraces the HIP HOP and the "Golden Era", the scratching and the Beat juggling.
He loves all the OLD SCHOOL & UNDERGROUND of the best rappers of those times and in particular of the 90s. Since the early 90s,
HIP HOP has become part of many musical charts and today it is spread all over the world, in various styles.
Fascinated more and more by art in general and visiting and stopping in the places where it is represented in the best way, he begins to approach the spirit of SOUL, FUNK and JAZZ that brings him back to the masterpieces of Blacks and "swing" music in all its aspects. How not to mention his passion for James Brown, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack, Tina Turner and many others. The music SOULFURIC, GARAGE, UNDERGROUND, HOUSE and DEEP HOUSE between one vinyl and the other, leads him to be a requested DJ but mainly a real musician.
Attracted by great house music artists like Larry Levan, Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Tony Humpries, Kerry Chandler, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzales, Maw, Todd Terry, Eddie Richards, Terrence Parker, Satoshi Tomiie, David Morales, Claudio Coccoluto, DJ Ralf, Luca Bacchetti, Alex Neri, Sven Vath, Matador, DJ Chus, Joeski, Mathias Kaden, Matthias Tanzmann, Steve Bug, Nick Curly, Gorge and many others. Cities like Riccione, where he finds the ECHOES Club, Florence with TENAX Club, Perugia with the RED ZONE Club are places he frequented to attend the evenings of the best contemporary DJs and not only.
