MURMUR TOOTH

Murmur Tooth is the songs of multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer, Leah Hinton. Leah played classical piano as a child in New Zealand before teaching herself guitar and forming avant-metal band El Schlong. She then shredded and screamed her way around Australasia and Europe with El Schlong, and later with quirk-rock band Kobosh. She settled in Berlin, built a studio, and started her solo "doom-pop" project Murmur Tooth, single-handedly writing, recording and mixing an EP and a full-length album, as well as filming and editing a bunch of music videos. Leah now works on everything from deep house to left-field pop, and has an ongoing multi-genre collaboration with Berlin DJ/producer, Lars Moston.
