Altere is a fast rising producer and DJ from Aberdeen, Scotland. With a keen ear for a melody and catchy hook, Altere's signature sound brings classic house music into the present day with punchy drums, energetic baselines and anthemic buildups.

A product of the Toolroom Academy and drawing on inspiration from Mark Knight , CASSIMM , Earth n Days, Leftwing : Kody , Low Steppa and Wh0 , Altere first burst onto the scene with his remix of OFFAIAH "Somewhere Special" and hasn't looked back.

The follow up, a remix of Ryan Spicer & PAUL & ME "Ya Body, won London Sound Academy's Remix Competition and was played around the club scene including at Ministry of Sound.

Altere's latest singles, "Lot to Live For" (Toolroom Records) and "Your Lovin" (There Was Jack) are a testament to his production skills and musical versatility, showcasing his ability to craft groovy, dancefloor-ready tracks that are steeped in uplifting feel good vibes.

Altere showcases his passion for house music as a regular on Data Transmission Radio and on guest mixes for Flex FM, Ibiza Stardust Radio and Salvione's Elevated Radio as well as playing alongside stellar acts at clubs such as Tunnels, Aberdeen and Joshua Brooks, Manchester.
