MAURICIO LOBATO

Born in Brazil in Belo Horizonte, Mauricio Lobato started his DJ career in 1986 at the age of 16, inspired by DJs such as Jellybean Benitez, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Ricardo Lamounier, Marcello "Meme" Mansur.

He soon stood out for his work in front of the main DJ booths in his city, with this came the invitations to djing in other clubs and festivals around Brazil and the various awards he has collected throughout his 35-year career.

For over 30 years he has presented and mixed several radio shows on major Brazilian broadcasters such as Radio Jovem Pan.

He began to remix his own versions of hit songs to play them exclusively on his radio shows and in the clubs he performed, over time he was improving his work and learning to produce music, becoming self-taught in music production and has done work for record labels such as Sony Music and BMG remixing artists such as Five, N Sync, Westlife, Mauricio Manieri, among others.
