BHEKUMUSICAYISE

With productions made specifically for the listener and not the DJ / Club, Nigel (South Africa) based producer bhekumusicayise (formerly known as King Beku) is one next-gen artist to keep an eye (and ear or 2) on in 2023. With audio movies like the am nesia party, the (ear) peek into my heart mental-bliss journey and 4-handed solo of my synths say goodnight all oozing "the listening experience", which is his priority.

He has been (and continues to) explore Dance music for over a decade (since age 13), professionally since age 16 for WE GO DEEP (a label by Luka which has had releases by Jazzuelle, Kojo Akusa, Sio and more). Currently at 24 he has taken a break from production to focus more on giving love and energy into performing for and engaging with his people (mostly on Instagram). He's left first album... and ...second album... for all to enjoy in the meantime.

Atmospheres of Electronic Music, Deep House and Afro House are where he resides the most.

He's the Founder of Longitudinal Music, and also made an appearance on Oscar P's Open Bar Music with the single Pretty Face.
