JACKY MAL

Growing up in Yorkshire, Jacky Mal was heavily influenced by his dad’s passion for the Blues and Funk & Soul music. In his teenage years, his passion grew for music of all types, including building a vast collection of underground Hip Hop and Reggae tracks.

He then discovered House music at the legendary Back 2 Basics night in Leeds, before stepping behind the decks as a DJ at some of Yorkshire’s best clubs and parties. Jack then moved to China and Kenya where he developed a love for all sorts of World Music, further adding to his huge collection of music.

His widespread music choices and love of travelling all inform his productions which feature a unique edge and approach, marking him out as a talent to watch out for.

In 2020, Jack signed to PuzzleProjectsMusic Record Label, with his first release ‘Love Will Let You Know’ peaking at No.31 in the global Disco/Nu-Disco Traxsource charts in January 2021 and receiving huge support worldwide from DJs.

2021 sees Jack work on new music for vinyl and digital release on PuzzleProjectsMusic over 2021 & 2022.
