From playing sets for mates in his house garage to roaring crowds at clubs globally; DJ Vifak’s unwavering passion for music burns stronger than ever today. The Maldivian born DJ rose to fame in the early 2000’s, hitting the ground running playing exclusive sets for the most exclusive resorts in the Maldives. Previously being resident DJ to W Maldives (2007), Velassaru Maldives (2012 – 2018) and currently to Sheraton Maldives since 2013. The open format DJ and Turntablist was drawn to the music scene by his keen interest for Hip Hop and Electronic music since he was a mere teenager. He is widely known to cross over and incorporate a range of musical genres within his sets which makes him a real crowd-pleaser wherever he spins.
The seasoned DJ knows the ins ad outs of how to work a crowd from a pub on a Friday night to a beach bar to an extravagant club. One of his biggest stints was by collaborating a string of instruments including saxophone, guitar and percussion's for a live performance at the very first Sounds of Maldives (2010) concerts which essentially became the talk of the town
