MKK

Khulekani Mashigo known as MKK began chasing his dream of being a musician in St. Francis primary school where he joined the school band playing an instrument called Jembe. MKK further went to Mater Dolorosa high school and joined the Dramajorates band, playing a side tenor and a snare.

With his love and passion for music, he began recording house mixes and sharing them with his former school mates. This made him more of a listener since he got a chance to explore music genres. MKK fell in love with Jazz, hip hop and deep house.

In 2017 MKK started his production, seeking gigs to make himself know. His music is a combination of African touch with soul in it. In 2020, he realised a single titled MKK_ Promises in a VA by Lance (The Book of Untold Stories, Vol. 1)under Sanelow Label. His recent release is a 5 track EP entitled Sabela.

He has been featured at Riverside view (Mbabane), Pub & Grill (Zulwini @ gables) and at Jokos (Motshane) to unleash the soulful side spinning the decks.

MKK is truly a young vibrant underground artist who will change the way people look at music.
