For more than a decade, Nick Balodimas, with styles that vary from deep/uplifting soulful house afro- house and classic disco, has moved dance floors across the East coast. Nick was one of the original house music DJ/producer teams from Boston Massachusetts known as The Shadow Kings.
In 1998, Nick moved into the production aspect of the industry, releasing his first recording, ‘Disco-Nnected’ on Gossip Records under The Shadow Kings (which ended up on a mixed compilation called ‘Angles Of Love’ mixed By Ted Patterson).
Nick Balodimas, who has gone under Niko!, Niko! Balodimas, D.J. Yahn, The Alpha Channels, JoeKevNic as well as The Shadow Kings has also released tracks and songs on CHEZ music, Soul Funk Digital, Utopia and Home recordings to name a few with his last collaboration in 2020 on Central Underground.
