TSORO MAVUSO

Born in Belgrade (KZN) Tsoro (Sifiso Mavuso) was brought up by his uncle in eMbalennhle township in Secunda.
His music started off with playing keyboards and singing at church from the age of 13. He got more and more influenced by all the music his uncle listened to and that was a wide range of Pop, Gospel and to some extent Jazz.

After high school he went on to live with his dad in Durban KwaMashu and later on enrolled at Durban University of Technology and majored in piano and upon completion went to Pretoria Tshwane University of Technology and attained a Btech degree in music.

He is now a producer who is not restricted to any genre, he produces House, Gospel, Rnb, Pop music etc. He is also a house DJ with more interest in the fusion of live instruments and vocals in his sets. He is presently working on a number of singles soon to be released under his label (TDM Network). He is deeply inspired by house music, he has contributed in DJ Ganyani's family gathering project and has worked extensively with Zakes Bantwini as a keyboard player and a DJ.

He founded his foundation (Sifiso Mavuso Foundation) which deals with social issues through art. The main project is the campaign against women abuse which features various artists: Nay Maps, Khaya Mthethwa, Zakes Bantwini, Mondli Ngcobo, Mbuso Khoza, Dumi Mkokstad, Nqubeko Mbatha, Sanele Mkhize, Xolani Sithole, Thami Shobede and Xolani Mdlalose.
