DJ, radio show host, producer, and in-demand resident DJ, CJ Cooper has been DJing across the UK and the world for nearly 20 years.
He's best known for his long-standing nine-year residency at The Eagle in London, the legendary LGBT+ venue. And let's face it, you know you're doing something very very right when the other residents include Horse Meat Disco.
Musically, CJ Cooper spans the best of disco, house and electronica - from upfront edits and releases to crate-digging for long-lost classics. And they're all present and correct on his weekly Wednesday night slot on D3EP.com where he has an international fanbase thanks to his seamless mixing and choice selections.
Equally at home playing main-stage festival slots as well as intimate club gigs, Cj has played many other high-profile events that include Dj'ing for Mi soul, Up on the roof, So-sure music parties, Brixton disco festival, Brighter days, Hed Kandi, the House and Classics Festival, Uptown festival, plus Ibiza gigs at Es Paradis, Ibiza Rocks Hotel and the Wiki Woo sunset bar and a recent Tour in the Philippines where he played at the famous Green Door in Manila and up on the terrace for Z hostel as well as sunset gigs in the islands famous beach bars.
Recent gigs of note are spinning at the BBE store for Black vinyl records, 3 wonderful gigs at Horse meat disco and now becoming resident at Fire in Vauxhall London for the Beyond brand supporting the LGBTQ+ crowd with his already in demand sets kicking off at 5am Sunday morning – PHEW !
Cj has also recently signed for the Euphonica Dj agency. Providing sensational disco sets across London and the world.
And memorably, it was while playing at Up on the Roof at the Prince of Wales in Brixton that The Shapeshifters called his warm-up 'one of the best they'd ever heard.'
