DJ ZERO

Born Leon Dumisane Themba also known as DJ ZERO was born in the dusty streets of Soweto (Chiawela). His passion for music started in 2002, while in high school, when he first heard the track Flowers by Armand Van Heerdeen

In 2007 he met the Sak-Siza Entertainment guys who gave him a platform to meet up with entertainers like Warras (Yfm), Bobstar (Metro fm) Zan-D (Club 808) and so many other well-known Dj's. In 2008 he was a Dj for Millionaire Models where he met Ob Twizzle and Dj Tseko (Lesotho) who gave him a chance to play at huge events with other SA top artists. In 2010 he met ZuluMafia (ZMD) who introduced him to music production, some of his tracks where released with the label Candibean Records and Open Bar Music. In 2011 he was the only Dj playing 4 the Northern Cape Maloof skateboard championship and battle of the bands tour. He has been part of various Dj competitions such as South African News Café competition where he got 1st place and the Viceroy Makoya mix where he was the runner up in 2012 and thats where he met the musical genius Dj Christos who gave him the opportunity to work with him at Katsaitis Music.

He has shared the stage with renowned South African Dj's such as DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Black Coffee, Fresh, Julian Gomes, Kent, Euphonik, Gigg Superstar, Milkshake, Zan-D, Oskido, Black Motion, Micasa, Liquid deep, Warras, Bobstar, Shimza and well known international Dj/producers like Ralf Gum, Alix Alverez ,Rocco, Monique Bingham, Ralf Gum, Charlse webster, AtJazz and Harrison Crump.

Dj Zero is now part of the Katsaitis music family. This year he aims to take his brand to a higher level than it has ever been in the previous years. He is determined to continue to bring good music to his fans & lovers of music. He promises to do what he does best & that's keeping people on the dance floor moving.
