MOOKANE

MooKane is a afro house/ progressive house producer/composer born in Limpopo South Africa, currently based in Mamelodi Pretoria.

Having grown up around a variety of textures and influences of music, And harnessing a laid-back spiritual personality as a person, He brings a warm fusion of raw African elements and melodic electronic pieces to strike a unique sound that is direct upbeat, minimal and spiritually driven.

It became an easy transition for MooKane at the his mid teens from being a fan of contemporary African music and European electronic harmonic dance music, to experimenting with creating music with friends, as the exposure and passion were too loud to ignore.

After several releases, both as a solo artist, and with a friend and producer (Lebza Lekoko ) under labels such as Skalla records and Blu Lace Music. One particular EP called No Methods was well received by the the global dance community and charted at no 18 on the Traxsource top 100 , MooKane has created a home to house his creations in a form of a label: Moo Cane Music. The label at which is aimed to offering authentic and original content from the African soul to the world .
