Matteo Zarcone aka Zee is an Italian composer, Dj and producer.
100% Vinyl addicted and collector, he better express his passion and devotion to music on stage.
In his electronic music productions as in the Dj sets there is a feel of profound love for Italo Deep House music, which is definitely one of his biggest inspirations in electronic music.
Warm sounds that harmonise perfectly with energetic old school grooves and a raw touch in producing music, brought him to perform as a Dj in the most prestigious Clubs around the world.
He produced music for prominent international artists and composed several scores for Movies and TV programs, while as a musician he played with different international projects and bands, being opening act for prominent artists such as Oasis, Skunk Anansie, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai, Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc. etc.
During his career he has released music with different projects for important labels such as the legendary “King Street Sounds” from New York, “Trax Records” from Chicago and “Nervous Records” from NY, definitely three of the most pioneering labels in the House Music scene; the “Jolly Jams” Label from the great German Disco guru DJ Kaos; the Florence based “Tenax Recordings ”; the notorious “Siesta Records” from San Diego; “Resopal Shallware” from Berlin etc. etc. having stunning feedbacks from the most important Djs around the world.
He recently released: “3”, the first single from under:tones, an electronic music project made alongside the Italian hero Alex Neri and focused on the many shades of electronic music, from clubs and festivals to art museums. Their debut album will be released in early 2021 and after that they will present their interactive live set.
He was the Planet Funk drummer for the “Non Zero Sumness” tv tour and he was a founder member of the “Trikobalto” band, with which in the early 2000s he has trodden prestigious stages and released music for “Sony Music” in Italy and France.
He is one the resident Djs for the legendary TENAX club in Florence, one of the most important House Music Club worldwide since 30 years.
He is also a resident Dj for the Paradox night at the EGG club in London
