ALEJANDRA TOLEDANO
Alejandra Toledano is a person who has made herself. Chained to art for life. Apprentice and teacher in equal parts. Discipline is one of her many virtues and constancy almost a religion. He has been studying since her teens. She started at the School of Music and Theater of Buenos Aires, Argentina and since then she has not stopped. She is currently licensed in Singing by RockSchool, England. Teacher of singing and vocalization since the 90s, teaches courses in her studio and sporadically teaches Master Classes wherever they claim their presence.
Her arrival in Spain in the year 80 was a radical change. This forced her to professionalize since she immediately began to be part, as a vocalist, in several orchestras and bands. In this way she gained a lot of experience. In a short time her skill on the boards was noted and she continued touring almost all of the Spanish territory, singing popular classics and international music.
She is emerging as a Jazz specialist. Since the 90s, her training Alejandra Toledano Trío, plays Jazz Standards and Bossa-nova. In addition, she works closely with musicians around her, but her interest pushes her to try new things. For example, composing the original music for several short films. Cornamusa, Where is Erre and The Hard Art of Living Underground. But everything does not stay there. In the early 2000s she began collaborating with Matt Correa. Electronic music producer and only son of Alejandra Toledano. It wasn't until the end of the 2000s when she edited her first work with Matt. A different concept, focused on the dance floor and within the digital market. She is now House music vocalist!
Matt has not stopped since claiming her presence in almost all his projects. Alejandra Toledano has been the voice in wedges and jingles of almost all Matt Correa's radio shows like The House Of Love at Loca Fm Madrid or Free Radio Show on WohRadio. She has also made locutions for industrial video or compositions for varied tunings.
She is currently a contributor to La Calle de Enmedio y La Tarde de Canal Sur, both presented by Mariló Maldonado and broadcast on Canal Sur Radio. She is also a collaborator in Llego La Hora of 101.tv Málaga, where she talks about musical news and analyzes some aspects or curiosities of the industry. In addition, she heads a new project called Carapapa Records. A means of escape where she can express her way of understanding the most current music.
