Numero27 discovers the art of sampling through the French house music at the end of the 90s with artists such as Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Romain Tranchart (Funk Legacy, Modjo), Philippe Zdar (Cassius, Motorbass) or Sébastien Léger’s first releases.
Even if these artists weren’t the pioneers of the genre, what attracts Nicolas is the energy and the spontaneity of their songs ; especially the infinite possibility of musical creation and expression around sampling.
He then started a musical exploration for many years in search of sounds coming from disco, funk, afro and latin music.
His motto : Liberty, Equality, Naivety... which are for him the most important values to his projects.
Nowadays, most of his own universe is defined to share the passion for sampling and creating amazing loops all in a groovy atmosphere.
