IKNITION

Danny Thomas, better known under the moniker IkNition, is a electronic music producer and DJ from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We all know that Amsterdam is known for it's electronic music festivals from the beginning of summer to the end of autumn, but the artist IkNition was more inspired by the early sounds of the 80's. Artist's such as The System, Kleeer, Chic, and many more that sculptured the funk dance movement along with a mixture of Chicago's garage label Jack Trax moved IkNition. His early tracks were made on vintage drum boxes and early synths equipped with an old Atari 1000 ST that molded his signature sound designs. The Netherlands based producer is followed by future young artists and countless producers across the electronic spectrum.
