ZAKES OKUBA

Biography
Zakhele Elton Manana commonly known as Zakes Okuba, is a Dj and Multi-Genre music producer from Tweefontein (Phumula) in Mpumalanga. He began his career by basically messing around with a software called Auto-mix on his cousin’s computer and he gain interest on it, then in 2013 that’s where he decided to go and study in Soulcandi Institute Of Music just to learn all the basic needed and to gain more knowledge about being a Disc jockey.
After being accepted as their student during that year, he then began to make friends who where students there too. And they introduced him to production properly of which he was familiar with it because he used to see his cousin messing around with Production Software’s especially this daw called Fruity Loops from Image-Line of which he now uses to produce his tracks. Yet the aim was to be a Dj but he got interested in it too after he was used to it.
