Real name Alexander Valerievich Gluhov
Alexander was born on 30th October 1975 in Moscow. In 1985 he already starts to show his interest both in music and dancing. He makes his first steps as a DJ at school parties.

In 1988 he develops his talent and becomes a member of the school show “Out of mind” which performs punk industrial music.

In 1989 he joins one of the most famous bands of that time called FORMALGAUT. Their music styles were EMF and funky house.

In 1991-1992 he gains valuable experience at famous CDK MAИ discos.

In 1993 he was one of the founders of Russian DJ culture. For the first time Alexander performed on turntables in “Lucky Star” club in Ostojenka. It was one of the rare places where you could find DJ sets at that time.

In 1993-1995 he works in “Lucky star” seven days a week, where he gains great experience. Probably then he became the first Mashup DJ.

In 1993 he becomes one of the first participants of the famous international electro-music festival “Kazantip”, which took place in Crimea, on the territory of the former USSR.

In the beginning of 1995 he acted both as an actor and a director in his performance “Viy” based on the story by Gogol in Aerodance nightclub.

In Summer 1995 he puts on the dancing show “The Wizard of Oz” in “Master” club.

In 1996 he becomes a resident DJ of the nightclub called “Treasure Island”.

In 1997 he took interest in spiritual practices.

In the beginning of 1998 he goes to India, where together with 3000 like minds from all over the world he visits holy sites. Once he and his friends are back to Moscow spiritually boosted, they host the series of thematic parties “Hare Krishna Party” in different clubs of Moscow and in “Griboedov” in St. Petersburg. They fit capital club “Territoria” best of all, creating nice atmosphere because of dance and Vedic ambiance.

In Autumn 1999 Alexander returns to the Holy Land of India and attends the annual festival “Kartikka” in Vrindavan.

Using Vaishnava mantras and prayers in his sets, DJ List starts to stand out from other DJ's and becomes very popular among connoisseurs of quality electronic music. Alexander’s creative works are so special, that even an amateur will easily identify them. He also stands out from his colleagues because of his unusual scenic images and costumes which make him the most stylish character of Russian club scene.

The album “Listopad” was released in 2000 with a circulation of 150  000 copies. It’s probably one of the most famous DJ List’s albums. After this sensation of the year was released, the DJ’s popularity rapidly increased.

In 2000 Alexander works as a guest DJ on the TV Show “the 7th Sense” (“Love at the first sight” analogue) on the ORT (the First Channel) Channel. After that he becomes one of the most recognizable people in the world of electronic music and his career takes off.

In 2001 the CD Maha Prasad was released as a result of collaboration with the famous at that time electronic musician Damodar.

In 2002 the albums Moscow-Paris and Snow man were released. Alexander is awarded as “The Best DJ of 2002” by Night Life Awards. He takes part in Dmitri Dibrov’s show “Night shift”. After an interesting radio broadcast DJ List got plenty of job offers from the best Russian clubs. He was in demand not only in the sphere of club music, at evens at different levels, cool parties and dance floors, but also among designers from all over the world.

In 2003 DJ List releases the album “Ottepel” and “Sinchofazatron-Zvezdolet”. He becomes awarded as “The Best DJ of 2003” by Night Life Awards the second year in a row. DJ MAG in his turn included him in a top DJs list, so he became the 1st Russian DJ in the English League.

In 2004 such albums like Exotic Café, Tabu, Svarana, Dark mix saw the light. Many of his compositions (among which “Hare Krishna Mix” and “Listopad”) become hits.

Since 2004 Alexander annually performs in the most famous clubs and private parties of Courchevel.
