JD73 is the producer alias of keyboard guru/producer Dan Goldman.
The JD73 project was conceived whilst Dan was on the road with Morcheeba in 2000 initally as an instrumental project and the first JD73 release 'Happy People' came on Nightmares On Wax's 'Wax On' label in 2005. This was soon followed up by JD73's Rhodes piano driven club smash 'Swing Til It Hurts' and the debut album 'Zeros and Ones' which was released on US label Ropeadope in 2008 gaining acclaim from Yahoo Music and Okayplayer to name a few. Following on from this, JD73 signed to Joey Negro's Z Records and released 'Pure Gold', a collection of disco/boogie influenced songs which cemented the JD73 name at the forefront of UK forward thinking soul music gaining acclaim from the likes of Dmitri From Paris, Ralph Gum, Ashley Beadle and Groove Armada. The upcoming JD73 album will be the first in a JD73 presents series on the new JD73 label Electric73.com. JD73 presents The ElectraSoul Orchestra: Make Your Move, will feature 14 slamming future soul/funk/disco songs/instrumentals, designed to uplift and give spine tingles to the max! Watch out for it in 2014 along with JD73 and the ElectraSoulOrchestra gigs. Thanks for your support!
