In love with the famous Motown sound of strong rhythm, layered instrumental and memorable hooks… It wasn't until the late 90's, with the first Daft Punk productions, that Joe discovered how Electronic & House Music moved him on a different level.

For Joe, music is about exploration.

He's been exploring the world of music since he was 16 years old, when he first began as DJ but was always fascinated by how technology intersect art and so bought himself his first sampling keyboard and started delving into loops, sequencer and beats making.

This passion quickly led him to studio productions and touring with different bands around Europe as a Sound Engineer for their live concerts.

Fast forward 20 years later, a musician and a producer who actively works with other artists. Joe infuses his Electronic / House / Funk vibe to their tracks, shaping them into something different whilst retaining the essence of the original idea.

Joe never wants to be boxed into one genre or have one specific style of music because he sees music as an ever-changing universe where anyone can explore anything they want—and it should never get boring!

… and yes, Maffia is his real last name.
