His first flirtation with commercial success came in 2011 under his former alias Dirt Revolver, his style previously being breaks & tech-funk, and in 2011 he gained notable recognition as a producer when he won the LOT49 remix competition featuring the vocals of Odissi. He went on to release music with LOT49, Diablo Loco, VIM Records and others. His prolific breaks productions have frequently featured in the BP Top 100 charts and to date has over 70 releases to his name. However In 2015 he changed direction under his own name, going back to his roots of deep progressive house and melodic techno.

2018 saw the release of his debut full length artist album 'Untitled' on Census Sound Recordings. The album was widely received with critical acclaim from the likes of Danny Tenaglia, LTJ Bukem, Tommy Trash, DJ Krush to name a few. Stylistically it represents his unique prog tech house sound, ranging from deep melodic to a darker more techno infused crossover. The opening track 'Let Me Go' hit #1 on the Traxsource Progressive House Chart. Having trained in classical music, jazz and rock from an early age, the musicality of his background shines through in his productions, crafted with the technical skill from over 10 years of studio experience. He has a series of fresh EP's set for release throughout 2018 so keep an eye out!

No stranger behind the decks, in the early 1990's he cut his teeth on the London house scene with a 3 year residency at the infamous UCL union 'Cocktails' club nights. He promoted in iconic clubs such as Leisure Lounge, The Cross, Ministry Of Sound, The Velvet Underground and many more, playing along some of the early pioneers of the upfront house scene such as Jon Pleased Women, Brandon Block & Alex P, Tall Paul and Nicky Holloway. He also played at numerous 'free parties' across London, and was a regular attender on the psychedelic trance and acid house scene. Since the launch of Census Sound Recordings he has promoted label nights with headliners D Ramirez, Meat Katie, Ben Coda & Hedflux.

In June 2017, the Census Sound crew played Gottwood Festival for the first time with a roadblock takeover of The Curve Stage on the opening night. The second time Cross has played Gottwood, alongside Gottwood stalwarts Ed Steele & Kostas G, and the crew are returning again to party in the woods in 2018.
